She worked as a Seamstress, and she later adopted a second son.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. After coming to the age of reason, Chad took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.
