History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Adelard was born the youngest of three triplets. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Manfred grew up listening to his father's many stories. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Detective. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
