Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Cory will drive conversation. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cory grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cory. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the east. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Maynild fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
