History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jane grew up listening to her father's many stories. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

History: He was born in the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Spice Merchant. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.
