History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Robert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Anne hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Anne alone in the world.
