Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Kody was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Kody never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: She was born into a rich family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Navigator for the past few years.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and wants to raise her children well
