History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Maynild was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her first spouse was a Fortune-teller, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Lewis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Servant for hire.
