History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Griselda was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Griselda's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and sabotage a competitor

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
