Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Bertram isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She worked as a nervous Guard and found it very stressful. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: The child of a Locksmith, who enjoyed hunting, Agatha was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

Description: He is a pot bellied southern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His brown hair is long and unkept. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Jocelyn took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
