History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adelaide grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adelaide. After months of barely getting by, Adelaide managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

History: Rosamund lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Servant. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
