History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Avelina liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born in a small island village. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Griselda wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Justin grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital.
