Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered gnolls who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is her passion; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

History: Guy was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
