History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

History: Born in the west to a Dilettante, Adelard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has worked as a Dilettante like his mother before him.
