History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. During his travels, Miles and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Miles discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Miles fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Stableman who has hired him part-time. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She worked as a nervous Bookbinder and found it very stressful. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
