History: He comes from a rich southern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: He wears a tattered pair of loose pastel pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Conrad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: This slender woman stands about 5'3". She wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her eyes are blue.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She was born into a rich family. One day when Avelina was young, her mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly her mother dropped to the ground dead. Her mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Avelina was heart-stricken from the event, and her father started working long hours to provde for them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
