Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. She takes great joy in being the best Stableman in town.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. Vicky is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Vicky was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.
