She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Arnold isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Maynild was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
