Description: Her left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She tends to wear a brown poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Her hair is red, silky, and of moderate length. Her green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. Juliana is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Unemployed they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Knight, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Knight and was forced into it by her family.

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 4'7". She wears a brown shirt, with a tan mid length skirt with tan tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them, and her gloved hand is found clutching a sword. She keeps her long blonde hair kept up in a rat tail. Her gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Animal Trainer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away.

Description: He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with violet colored cloaks and clothing. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Everard grew up listening to his father's many stories. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: This tall, slender man wears a pastel shirt with thin violet vertical stripes and grey pants. His hair is long and blonde with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small pastel clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
