History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She was born in the west. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Emmeline and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
