History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Being a Fletcher kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She is a Jackalwere in disguise. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Melissa never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
