Her father taught her the rudiments of the Barrister arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. Mary is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
