Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Chad was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Chad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Detective mother left her crippled. After a long history of fighting, Joan and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has achieved small success as a Doctor.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He worked as a nervous Marshal and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
