History: Thomas hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Thomas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Layabout but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born in a small island village. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Layabout kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Conrad is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
