When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Crown-heir. She struck the Crown-heir job and began her own company from there.

Personality: Melissa hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Performer but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and retire the richest woman in the east
