Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a tan costume with the symbols of the sun god on his torso. His hair is long and brown with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His brown hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). She has styled her blonde hair well, parting it to the left. Her green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and money/treasure

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by her earthly robes.. She has a very tight haircut. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: She is a Marshal first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She tends to her Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
