Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Through the years after Jacoba was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Jacoba's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and regain custody of her daughter

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He's also a talented Jeweler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
