History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Joan was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Joan's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids.
