Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Manfred lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Manfred alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Theobald was raised in a hard working conservative environment. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she is dressed in a clean red cloak covering her clean studded leather. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
