History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Ruler. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his ceremonial dagger with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. With bright silver hair and a scraggly beard. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has achieved small success as a Healer.

Personality: This woman loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. At a young age her mother died while driving off some dire rats. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in greataxe use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
