Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Giselle was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Bernard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by her earthly robes.. She has slicked back black hair. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Carter. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: The child of a Detective, who enjoyed hunting, Melissa was taken on many hunting expeditions. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult.
