Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Nicholas's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Doctor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Marshal, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Dilettante mother left him crippled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to get a good night's sleep
