Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born in the north. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
