History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Born to a Miner, her father struggled to pay the bills. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Miner they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Tanner, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Tanner and was forced into it by her family.
