History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cecily grew up listening to her mother's many stories. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she feels threatened by others

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ernest is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
