Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. A true patriot, Gilbert would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born in the south to a Ruler, Gilbert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has never given up on his music dream.
