History: She was raised in a forest tribe. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Avice grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Avice. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She's also a talented Crown-heir, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Anne was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well.

Description: He wears a black costume with the symbols of luck on his torso, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'3" when asserting himself. His black hair is cut short. His skin is flawless and his blue eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. The war was a terrible time for him, and Theobald does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Theobald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Priest, but he got bored and became a Fisher. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and sabotage a competitor
