History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Galiena was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Galiena liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
