History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ploughman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. After a long history of fighting, Manfred and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Katherine was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared.
