History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Robert was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
