History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Fortune-teller arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Miles was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
