History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Agnes grew up listening to her mother's many stories. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered illithids who tried to eat her hand. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Rosalind and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.

Description: He is lean but muscular and is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Reynard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and many illithids want him driven away
