History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After months of barely getting by, Susannah managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Roland took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Roland was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
