History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and revenge

History: She got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fortune-teller.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and seeks redemption

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
