Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rolf grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rolf. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: Elysande wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born into a rich family. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she has money and likes to spend it

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
