History: Jacoba was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
