History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and doesn't want to be a seamstress and was forced into it by his family

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alice grew up listening to her father's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
