History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. After coming to the age of reason, Mary took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Joan hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Joan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her divine abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She became a Marshal soon after.
