She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Juliana took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up spear and armor she uses now. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Juliana never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her first spouse was a Bookbinder, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
