History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His white hair is lengthy. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Manfred liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
