History: Joan was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Apothecary. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and to get a good night's sleep
